Priority One Lifestyle Management was founded by Melanie Hammond, APRN, to provide exceptional holistic care to maximize the quality of life of every client. As a concierge medical practice, Priority One offers exclusive, personalized care with accessibility and convenience, giving our clients direct access to their provider without rushed appointments, challenging administrative hurdles, insurance headaches, or wasted time in waiting rooms.

Meet the Team

FounderWith 15 years of experience in recovery, age management, and lifestyle choices, Melanie’s extensive education and experience enables her to provide the level of holistic healthcare her patients need and deserve. She earned her BSN and MSN in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, and has been a registered nurse since 2011. Before starting Priority One, she worked for Renown Regional Medical Center, Gastroenterology Associates, Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare, and Silver Sage Center for Family Medicine. As a former fitness trainer with an Associate’s Degree from TMCC, Melanie is experienced in assessing movement and teaching proper technique to clients from all ages and walks of life. She is also certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Helmer has been in family medicine for seven years, working with Melanie for six of them. She values being hands-on with patients and helping them in any way, even if that means simply listening to them.She chose this area of work after seeing how difficult home life was for her mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Helmer was motivated to pursue a career in medicine so she could help make life easier for people. Her goal is to provide quality care for patients so that they have peace of mind knowing that they are are heard and taken care of.

Born and raised in Reno, NV, Yahaira brings a unique blend of medical expertise and creative marketing to our team. With over five years of experience as a Medical Assistant, she’s passionate about helping others and creating meaningful connections—both in and out of the office.
As our Manager of Marketing & Promotions, Yahaira uses her energy and creativity to keep our community engaged and informed.
Outside of work, Yahaira loves spending time in the great outdoors, especially around Lake Tahoe. Whether she's with family and friends or cheering on her favorite soccer teams, she’s always embracing life to the fullest

Faye brings a strong foundation in patient-centered care, with a background in post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing. She is a licensed nurse who has recently joined our team. In her role as Clinical Support Nurse, she supports both patients and providers with skill, warmth, and a strong commitment to thoughtful, high-quality care.
Faye is passionate about creating a smooth, reassuring experience in every patient encounter. She’s proud to grow her clinical skills alongside an experienced team that values meaningful, compassionate care.
Outside of work, Faye enjoys painting, relaxing with loved ones, and continuing her nursing education.

Rachel has been a Certified Medical Assistant for over 18 years, bringing a wealth of experience across various medical specialties. For the past five years, she has had the privilege of working alongside Melanie. While her background is broad, Rachel has truly found her passion in Family Medicine, where she thrives on building lasting relationships with patients.
Known for her compassionate nature, Rachel understands that sometimes the most important thing she can offer is a listening ear and a supportive presence. Her empathy and dedication are at the heart of her approach to care.
Outside the clinic, Rachel enjoys making the most of the outdoors—especially in the summer. You’ll often find her camping, wakeboarding, or spending quality time with her family and friends.

Ericka Redondo is a dedicated nursing professional born and raised in Reno, Nevada. A wife and proud mother of three, Ericka has been committed to the field of nursing since 2011. She brings over a decade of experience, with a strong foundation in cardiac intensive care and a passion for aesthetic nursing, which she has practiced since 2013.
In 2024, Ericka earned her Master of Science in Nursing, further deepening her clinical expertise and leadership in patient care. Known for her compassionate approach and attention to detail, she combines critical care knowledge with an artistic touch in the aesthetic space.
Outside of her professional life, Ericka enjoys exploring the outdoors, getting lost in a good book, and cherishing time with her family.
